Why donate?

TIMEPIX@school gives students the chance to investigate radiation using the same Timepix technology used in space missions today. In April 2026, six Timepix chips flew aboard NASA’s Artemis II mission to help monitor radiation inside the Orion spacecraft. This gives students a tangible connection between their classroom investigations and the use of particle detectors in space exploration.

Your support will help expand this unique programme to more schools, more teachers, and more students worldwide. It will give more young people the opportunity to ask questions, analyse real data and see themselves as capable of pursuing careers in STEM.
